Description
This special program to honor Black History Month will be a dramatic portrayal of a Continental Soldier's Recollections of serving with Black Patriots in the War of Independence. Historian John Daniel Pagano will portray Continental Army veteran Sergeant Hamlin Cole of Chesterfield County, who years after the Revolution, reflects on his fellow Black Patriots who served under arms with him in General Washington's Army and in the militia and their contributions to winning our independence from England.
There will be two separate presentation times for this program at 2 pm and 3 pm.
