DSMP explains “how” to put everything together that your medical team has recommended to you in managing diabetes. The workshop is two hours once a week for six weeks. Workshops are facilitated from a highly detailed manual by two trained leaders. Subjects covered include techniques to deal with the symptoms of diabetes, fatigue, pain, hyper/hypoglycemia, stress, and emotional problems such as depression, anger, fear and frustration. Instructed by the SPAN Center.
