***PRS does not provide transportation to or from the surf site - families must arrange for transportation on their own. Please make sure your surfer meets the skill level laid out below - we will not be able to provide a refund if a student is not capable of safely participating.*** Middle School Surf Club is designed for those who already have at least an intermediate level with the fundamentals of surfing. Members of the MS Surf Club will continue to work on and grow in paddling technique, duckdiving, and turtle-rolling through breakers, and how to paddle for a green wave in the lineup. We will also work on surf etiquette on how to avoid unnecessary accidents and injuries while being a safe and respectful surfer in the lineup. Lastly, we will also work on gratitude by loving and caring for the ocean that provides us with this sport. Unfortunately, this is not a club to teach beginners or those who have never surfed before. Students must have their own equipment (surfboard and wetsuit) as well as transportation to and from the surf spot. We will be surfing along with the Upper School Surf Team at Turtles/Barneys located in the San Elijo Campground every Tuesday after school from 3:45 - 5:15 pm. ***Each surf day depends on the weather, so make sure you check for updates from the coach. We have one day off built into the schedule to accommodate a cancellation, and Coach Pashkow will do everything possible to make up for any other weather events.***
