About this event
Discover the joy of printmaking in this hands-on class using gelli plates and unexpected found objects to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind monoprints. You’ll learn how to layer color, build texture, and pull prints using everything from toy cars to seashells. You’re invited to bring your own small objects to print with—anything flat(ish) and full of texture that you don’t mind getting paint on. Great options include buttons, pasta, flat tools, leaves, string, coins, shells, and more. We’ll also have a variety of textures on hand to play with, so come ready to experiment! Instructor: Karalyn Thayer, Apian Creative Date: Wednesday, April 1, 6 - 8 PM Cost: $60, includes supplies
