Pre-Requisite for this course is IMS 100: https://www.ontario.ca/page/emergency-management-program-resources This course provides the industrial responder and/or supervisor with the basic knowledge necessary to perform duties, as a member of a team, to command an emergency scene. The participant will be able to properly describe the components of an Incident Command System (ICS) as well as the roles and responsibilities of the Incident Commander. The importance of health and safety of responders at the emergency scene and the impact of hazardous incidents on the work environment are emphasized.
