This course serves as a bridge between the beginner and intermediate levels, helping students strengthen their grammatical foundation while continuing to develop confidence in conversation. Students are introduced to compound tenses and an overview of more advanced structures, including the subjunctive mood, while expanding vocabulary and practicing more complex communication. Through dialogues, cultural themes, guided conversations, and collaborative activities, students build the grammatical and communicative skills needed to continue progressing in the intermediate sequence.

Please bring:

• A notebook and a pen.
• Material Fee ( $30.00) - Paid to the instructor on the first day of class.

REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.

REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.

CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
