Description
This course is designed for students who have completed Spanish for Beginners Introduction or who already have basic Spanish vocabulary or previous experience studying the language. Students continue developing their Spanish through stories, songs, dialogues, role-playing, and reading activities. They learn greetings, present-tense verbs, everyday expressions, numbers, and essential vocabulary to communicate using simple sentences about people, places, and everyday situations. The course emphasizes a communicative approach that builds confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and pronunciation.
Please bring:
- A notebook and a pen.
- Material Fee ( $30.00) - Paid to the instructor on the first day of class.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
