Spanish Beginners B is designed for adults who already have some exposure to the Spanish language—whether through our Beginners A course, travel, or informal learning experiences. Participants may be familiar with basic vocabulary such as greetings, numbers, colors, and everyday verbs, and feel comfortable navigating simple conversations. In this next-level class, learners will deepen their skills through engaging activities like storytelling, songs, dialogues, role-playing, and reading. We’ll continue strengthening the present tense while introducing irregular and reflexive verbs, comparisons, expressions, and practical vocabulary for real-life communication. Our approach is immersive and communicative, helping adults build confidence, fluency, and joy in using Spanish naturally and effectively.

$30 cash material fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class.

REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.

REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.

CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
