About this event
What does a stolen bunny, a broken cookie jar, a dollhouse, and a footprint all have in common? Find out as you put your deductive reasoning skills to work solving crimes and mysteries that would unravel any student! Do some serious sleuthing as you use real-world techniques and equipment to analyze evidence found at mock crime scenes. Play out the role of investigators, witnesses, and suspects as you work together to solve these crimes. Learn about, Frances Glessner Lee, the “mother of forensic science”, who created crime scene models from dollhouses to train investigators. Will you be able to discover who broke the cookie jar, figure out whose footprint was left at the crime scene, find the real bunny thief, and save Honey the Bunny before it’s too late? Read detective stories! Sleuth Squad, , Who Done it? Campers projects include: DNA tests, finger prints and lip prints, bite impression, blood typing, toxicology, microscopy, hair and fiber analysis, chromatography and DNA.
