This Java camp is based on College Board’s 2026 revised AP Computer Science A curriculum. In this camp, students will learn the fundamentals of the Java programming language and object-oriented programming, which are essential for the AP Computer Science A exam. Each class will include hands-on activities, allowing students to work on projects related to the topics covered in the session. Students will also engage in AP exam-style free-response questions (FRQs) and practice multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The curriculum will cover Java program structure, including identifiers, variables, data types, type casting, conditional statements, for loops, while loops, operators, classes, objects, methods, and constructors, among other concepts.
