About this event

Description

Prerequisite any one Cuesta Blacksmithing classThis class will have students produce a large fork with a twisted handle and hook on the back end, suitable for picking up food from a barbecue grill. They will work with heavier material than the beginner classes, to practice isolating material with a guillotine tool and splitting with a hot chisel, as well as using a convenience bend to work with difficult shapes. The class moves quickly, and is recommended for students for whom the beginner classes are no longer a challenge.
Students must wear fire-safe clothing (cotton, wool, or leather; no synthetics), closed-toe shoes (no synthetic uppers), and should dress for an open classroom. Long pants and short sleeves recommended.
Water will be provided.
