Students who stay in DECA for more than one year must take an additional CTE course such as Empowering Entrepreneurship. Description: Develop leadership, business, and entrepreneurial skills through real-world experiences and competition. DECA prepares students for regional, state, and international business competitions while exploring topics such as marketing, finance, hospitality, and entrepreneurship. Members strengthen communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and presentation skills through hands-on projects, case studies, and competitive events that prepare them for future academic and career success.
