Come join the fun! Students will have fun learning Ballet positions, warm-ups, and tap steps. Correct technique and terms will be taught. Students will learn a dance routine to perform for family and friends. Parents are allowed to stay for the first 10 minutes on the first day of class for announcements. Parents are encouraged to attend the last class for a presentation.
Please bring a water bottle and wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.
If a class is cancelled, the makeup session will be tentatively scheduled one week after the final class date.

Refund and transfer requests must be submitted in writing at least 14 calendar days prior to the start of the activity.
A $10 Processing Fee applies to each activity cancellation requested by the participant, with no exceptions.NO REFUNDS will be issued for requests received less than 14 calendar days prior to the start of the activity. This includes last-minute transfer requests due to class cancellations.This is a City-wide policy and applies to all community centers.
Medication Waiver Requirement
If your child requires medication during program hours, a completed and approved Medication Waiver is required prior to participation. This requirement applies to all medications used during the program, including medications administered by staff, medications staff assist with or supervise, and medications that participants carry and self-administer. This includes, but is not limited to, EpiPens, inhalers, prescription medications, and over-the-counter medications.
If your child requires medication during program hours, please contact Krissy Marquez at Christine.Marquez@sanjoseca.gov to begin the Medication Waiver process. Medication may not be used during the program until all required documentation has been submitted, reviewed, and approved.
This is a City of San José policy intended to ensure the safe administration and use of medication during City programs.
