Due to a limited number of tickets, we kindly ask that family members do not register for this event. In the event that a non participant registers, their transaction will be voided/refunded. This does not apply to participates requiring assistance from an aide.
The Summer Nights program is for Independent Club members. The group is for adults with a cognitive impairment. It is designed to increase leisure independence, community functioning and build social skills through experiential opportunities within the community and at recreation centers. Register early, space is limited. Must have assessment of file prior to attending the outing. The City of San Diego, Parks and Recreation Department, Therapeutic Recreation Services, provides therapeutic programs for children and adults with any type of disability. Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) work with participants on social and recreational skill development, leisure education, appropriate behavior, and recreation participation in inclusive environments.
