SDP 2.5 is a no nonsense fighting pistol course. You will be physically and mentally pushed to shoot faster and be accurate while under the stress of physical exertion. This course will emphasis movement, multiple targets, and barricades. You will be required to move quickly and lift moderately heavy objects to replicate stress. Class Objectives: move faster while shooting Shoot faster Retain accuracy Process what you are seeing faster Use cover Engage Multiple Targets while moving. Required Gear - medium or larger pistol, Think Glock 43x or bigger. Or for revolvers Ruger LCR or bigger. - 4 Mgazines, Bring more if you have more - 300 rds ammunition - Holster: must be strong side carry or appendix carry. It must be designed for your pistol. Outside the waistband holsters must have at least friction retention. No soft nylon pouch style holsters. - Magazine or speed loader holders with friction retention. - 5 inert training rounds for your caliber handgun. These can be purchased day of class from me.  - Eye protection - wrap around is preferred. - Ear protection - electronic is preferred. - Water - Closed toe shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather and moving on grass. - Note taking material Suggested  -Chair -  There are no chairs on the range so if you want to sit while on break bring a chair.  -Batteries for optics. -Firearms lubricant. -snacks -rain gear - spare optic battery
