With everyone working on different projects, Russel will demonstrate and explain his process on finishing paintings with or without a reference subject or photo. Considering lighting, color choices and compositional fundamentals work together to finish old paintings and gain an understanding of how to complete others paintings outside of class. Required: Bring the paint/brushes you have been using to work on your selected project. Russel Whitten, a local artist and teacher, studied at the Art Students League of New York and Heartwood College of Art and is a member of the Ogunquit Art Association/Barn Gallery. Students adore his laid-back, encouraging demeanor.
