About this event
Students will spend two weeks diving into William Shakespeare’s timeless comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream, a magical story filled with mischievous fairies, star-crossed lovers, and a troupe of hilarious amateur actors who accidentally steal the show. From enchanted forests and love-potion mix-ups to larger-than-life characters like Puck and Bottom, this play is packed with whimsy, mistaken identities, and laugh-out-loud moments. Campers will explore Shakespeare’s imaginative world through acting, movement, and play—bringing this joyful, high-energy classic to life for friends and family at the final performance. Our two-week Summer Theatre Camps runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with optional early drop-off at 8:00 a.m. and late pickup until 6:00 p.m at no additional charge. Performances happen on the Saturday following the final day of camp (show times TBD). Campers receive daily instruction in acting, improvisation, stage combat, and movement as they rehearse for a final performance under the lights and in costume on the Penfold stage for family and friends. Tuition is $475, with sibling and multi-session discounts available, and all instructional and production costs are included. Lunch and snacks are not provided. Campers should bring a sack lunch, two to three snacks, and a refillable water bottle each day.
