Disney’s Moana Jr. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the Disney film, bringing the adventures of Moana and her village to life onstage. Moana JR. features all the beloved songs from the film, written by Tony, Grammy, Emmy, and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foa’i, and Mark Mancina, including “How Far I’ll Go,” “Shiny,” and “You’re Welcome.” This thrilling and heartwarming coming-of-age story follows the strong-willed Moana as she sets sail across the Pacific to save her village and discover the truth about her heritage. Moana and the legendary demigod Maui embark on an epic journey of self-discovery and camaraderie as both learn to harness the power that lies within. With empowering messages of bravery and selflessness, Moana JR. is sure to bring out the hero within each of us. Our two-week Summer Theatre Camps runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with optional early drop-off at 8:00 a.m. and late pickup until 6:00 p.m at no additional charge. Performances happen on the Saturday following the final day of camp (show times TBD). Campers receive daily instruction in acting, music, dance/movement, and theatre games as they rehearse for a final performance under the lights and in costume on the Penfold stage for family and friends. Tuition is $475, with sibling and multi-session discounts available, and all instructional and production costs are included. Lunch and snacks are not provided. Campers should bring a sack lunch, two to three snacks, and a refillable water bottle each day.
