Description

Our Martial Arts program offers a unique experience combining discipline through martials arts with a focus on promoting excellence in our students’ physical, mental, and emotional lives. Our approach is about self-discipline, self-respect, respect towards others, and most of all, “honor.” This class will teach each student that Martial Arts is more than fighting; it is learning how to live. All students must be in class on time, as punctuality and attendance are part of our grading system. A black Karate Gi is required for the classes, so please see the instructor.

This class will teach the students the practical use of Martial Arts. They will learn to integrate their blocks, punches and kicks into techniques. They will learn katas to improve their form and specialized drills to improve their kicks' power, speed, and accuracy. They will participate in freestyle sparring and learn about tournament fighting. Note: Wednesday classes will end at 8:25pm. The students who have met the requirements will be allowed to participate in the extended part of the class, all others will be dismissed at 8:00pm.
