In this hands-on clay class, students will turn their ideas into three-dimensional works of art while learning foundational ceramic techniques. Artists will explore coiling, slab building, texturing, and glazing as they plan, shape, and refine their creations. Creative projects will give students opportunities to experiment with clay, develop new skills, and express their individual style. From playful creatures and imaginative sculptures to functional pottery, students will bring their own unique ideas to life. All materials are included. There will be no class on Monday, September 21. This class will meet for 9 sessions.
