This intermediate class is for those who already have some experience with watercolor. We will be building on skills and techniques such as glazing, negative painting, color mixing, color theory, value studies, and pen and ink. We'll also touch on a variety of subjects—botanicals, landscapes, animals, and still lifes. Supply list provided with registration, also on our website. Class skips 10/14. Instructor Gianna Bird, art teacher, silversmith, and jewelry maker, is most happy making things and problem solving. A recent arrival to the midcoast from Massachusetts where she helped found Five Crows gallery, Gianna manages and hosts the online community "Crafting an Artful Life" teaching watercolor, bookmaking, art journaling, and myriad crafts.
