This class is for anyone who has never skied or who hasn’t skied in years and wants to brush up on the basics and have some fun this winter. We’ll start from the beginning and build on the basics, talk about equipment, techniques, and explore different places to ski as abilities and conditions permit. You’ll need your own equipment. The first meeting will be at Camden Hills Regional High School field house beside the athletic fields. We may need to adjust the class schedule and travel distance based on availability of skiable areas. Instructor Geoff Scott has been involved in all forms of snow sports for most of his life and has enjoyed exploring midcoast trails for more than 25 years. He's instructed both downhill and XC skiing as well as worked in the outdoor industry in various incarnations for almost his entire life, including with Outward Bound.
