Anyone—from comfortable beginner to experienced—who wants to get outside and have some fun on cross-country skis this winter is welcome to attend this class for folks who feel comfortable on their skis but want to build on their skills. We’ll talk about equipment, techniques, and explore different ski trails as conditions permit, all the while working on improving your skiing. You’ll need your own equipment. The first meeting will be at Camden Hills Regional High School field house beside the athletic fields. We may need to adjust the class schedule and travel distance based on availability of skiable areas. Instructor Geoff Scott has been involved in all forms of snow sports for most of his life and has enjoyed exploring midcoast trails for more than 25 years. He's instructed both downhill and XC skiing as well as worked in the outdoor industry in various incarnations for almost his entire life, including with Outward Bound.
