Launch a rewarding career in dentistry with this 10-week accelerated Dental Assisting program taught by Lauren Hatch. Students will also learn from Dr. Doug Laliberte and other local dental professionals through comprehensive, hands-on training that includes more than 70 hours of classroom and clinical experience. Designed to prepare students for a variety of dental practice settings, this course covers the essential skills and knowledge needed to succeed as a dental assistant. The curriculum mirrors that of a certified Dental Assisting program, providing students with industry-recognized training and practical experience. In addition to classroom and clinical training, students will learn strategies for marketing themselves effectively in a competitive job market and gaining access to employment opportunities in the field. Course tuition includes all textbooks and DANB Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) exam preparation materials. (Exam retests are available for an additional fee.) Students will also earn OSHA and CPR/First Aid certifications at no additional cost. Additionally, tuition assistance and funding opportunities for eligible students may be available through several area agencies.
