This 40-hour Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) course provides students with the foundational knowledge and skills required to safely administer oral medications to residents in state-licensed assisted living facilities. The course includes comprehensive classroom training on medication administration, safety protocols, regulations, documentation, and the role of the CRMA in assisted living care. Upon successful completion of the classroom portion, students must complete a clinical component to gain certification. The clinical training can be completed either with our MCST instructor or arranged through the student’s own employment facility; please note that clinical training costs an additional $125 if completed with the MCST instructor. Additionally, tuition assistance and funding opportunities for eligible students are available for this class through several area agencies.
