This comprehensive CNA program provides a minimum of 130 hours of classroom instruction, hands-on lab practice, and clinical training, fully meeting all Maine state licensing requirements. Because seats are limited, early application is highly recommended. This program is entirely contract-free! Upon graduation and successful completion of the course and the state competency exam, students will be eligible to work as a CNA under the direction of a licensed nurse. Students are under no obligation to a specific facility and are free to apply for employment at any Maine hospital or healthcare provider. Additionally, tuition assistance and funding opportunities for eligible students are available for this class through several area agencies; please contact our office to obtain the CNA application. Prerequisite: High school diploma or equivalent. (This course costs $1,350)
