This 40-hour Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) course provides students with the foundational knowledge and skills required to safely administer oral medications to residents in state-licensed assisted living facilities. The course includes comprehensive classroom training on medication administration, safety protocols, regulations, documentation, and the role of the CRMA in assisted living care. Upon successful completion of the classroom portion, students must complete a clinical component to gain certification. The clinical can be completed either with an MCST instructor or arranged through the student’s own facility. The clinical training costs an additional $125 if done with an MCST instructor. (This course costs $375 tuition + $125 extra for those doing clinicals with our instructor.)
