Pistol 2 advances the foundational skills established in Pistol 1 into applied, decision-driven performance. This course challenges students to execute core mechanics under increased cognitive load, environmental variables, and realistic problem-solving scenarios. Students will refine recoil control, target transitions, speed reloads, and malfunction management while incorporating movement, use of cover, and positional shooting under time constraints. Instruction expands into one-handed shooting (dominant and support side), one-handed manipulations, and low-light application when applicable. Scenario-based drills introduce decision-making elements that require threat discrimination, accountability, and disciplined shot placement under pressure. Emphasis is placed on maintaining performance standards while processing information, managing stress, and solving problems in real time. Pistol 2 is designed for students who have mastered foundational mechanics and are ready to elevate their capability beyond isolated drills into applied defensive performance. Train with discipline.
