Feel confident and self-reliant on your bike! Join Nate from Ridgway Wrench for this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop designed for anyone who wants to better understand their bicycle and learn essential maintenance skills.

You’ll learn how to fix a flat, perform a simple safety check before every ride, inflate tires properly, clean and lubricate your chain, and identify key parts of your bike. We’ll also demonstrate quick on-trail fixes such as repairing a tubeless tire and take a look at the essential tools on a bike multi-tool—so you’ll know what they do and what you might want to carry in your repair kit.

No mechanical experience needed. This class is perfect for beginners and casual riders who want to feel more confident handling common bike issues and doing basic maintenance themselves.

Bring your bike, any tools you typically ride with, and your questions. You’ll leave with practical skills, greater confidence, and a smoother ride.
About the Instructor
Nate grew up on Nantucket Island and began working in bike shops at a young age, discovering early the freedom and fun bicycles bring to everyday life. From years of bike racing to professional wrenching, Nate has been immersed in the cycling world ever since. In 2017, he opened Ridgway Wrench. You can find Nate—and his team, Karl and Senna—at the shop at 540 Sherman St.
