IMPORTANT NOTICE: **Please log into your student account for receipt confirmation and click on Payment or Transaction History to view information such as class location, class date and classroom number.
A. ##REFUND/Withdrawal/Cancellation/Transfer Requests:##
1. All refund/withdrawal requests, please email sleung@sd38.bc.ca to withdraw from a course prior to the first day of class. No refunds will be issued after 3 days have passed since the course start date.
2. A 15% processing fee of the course fee will be charged for withdrawals. (Email: sleung@sd38.bc.ca) No refunds will be issued after 3 days have passed since the course start date.
4. Absences, disciplinary violations, or late registration do not constitute grounds for tuition reduction/compensation or refunds.
5. Class transfer requests will not be accepted after the second class session.
6. A $20 processing fee applies for reading/writing course materials and a $40 processing fee for conversation course materials if collected prior to withdrawal.
B. ONLINE CLASS? If you register the ONLINE class, you will receive the meeting link 3 days ahead of the course start day. ######
C. ###Excused Absences (Missed Classes/Exams/Tests):
1. If you are unable to attend a class for any reason, please notify the instructor as far in advance as possible or email sleung@sd38.bc.ca or the instructor.
2. No make-up exams or classes can be scheduled for missed classes, nor can the class be switched to an alternative mode of instruction.
3. If your student is on vacation/absent from school for any reason and a parent requests materials for a previously unscheduled class, the student will receive the materials/assignments upon return to school.
4. the school is unable to provide e-learning materials during a student's absence.
D. REMINDER:
1. Parents stay outside the school and please pick up your child from class on time.
2. To ensure the safety of your children, if parents do not come to pick up their children after half an hour from the end of the class on two or more occasions, the school reserves the right not to accept the students to attend the class, and there will not be any refund or make-up arrangements.
