This class will teach simple beginning conversations using the standard Mandarin Chinese Romanization system called "PinYin". Some common characters will also be introduced using the proper stroke order. We will cover simple greetings, time telling, telephone greetings, etc. The teacher is intermediate in Mandarin and knows well the struggles that learners of the Chinese language are faced with. Materials for the class will be furnished, with an optional recommendation to buy a book which can be obtained used on Amazon for $8 to $12.
