Students are invited on a fun and engaging journey as they explore Nigeria — a vibrant part of West Africa rich with music, stories, art, and traditions. Through hands-on activities, they’ll learn simple Yoruba and Igbo greetings, create Adire-inspired tie-dye art, enjoy rhythmic movement and drumming, explore imaginative folktales, and sample kid-friendly Nigerian treats. Students will learn about everyday life and celebrations in another part of the world, discovering meaningful connections around family, community, creativity, and storytelling. They’ll also explore colorful clothing, delicious foods, exciting traditions, lively music, and amazing festivals — all brought to life through a virtual tour of Nigeria.
