Description
Join us for an ADULTS ONLY winter guided paddle around our pond in one of our canoes. We will start with a quick lesson on basic canoeing and paddling, then we will paddle together up a creek. Then we will return to the pond to learn about our various winter waterfowl on the pond and observe them from the boats using binoculars. Canoes, paddles, flotation vests, and binoculars are provided (no outside boats are permitted but you may bring binoculars or flotation vests if you have your own). This program is dependent on suitable weather conditions and water levels. For ages 18 and up; FREE.
FOR THIS PROGRAM: Each canoe can hold either a minimum of two adults, or a maximum of three adults (800-pound total weight limit). Registration is PER BOAT. If you only need 1 boat, please register just 1 member of your group. Please call if you have questions.
Please register one person from your group to reserve one canoe; you do not need to sign everyone up online that will be boating with you. The person registered MUST be an adult, and all the people who will be on the boat must also be adults for this winter experience. If you need more than one boat, then sign up a different adult for the second boat.
