Prince George Parks and Recreation is proud to partner with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to offer programming at the James River National Wildlife Refuge at Powell Creek Nature Trail in Prince George County.
Join our local naturalist for a guided nature walk as she highlights the wonders of nature along Powell Creek Nature Trail on Saturday March, 21, 2026 from 9 AM - 11 AM. Learn about the rich natural and cultural history of the area, as you meander along the winding path. There is always something new to see as we explore the wild outdoors.
This free event is sponsored by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Prince George County Parks and Recreation.
All ages are welcome. This activity is limited to 25 participants. Each participant of a family that will be attending must be registered. Pre-registration is required. Register on-line February 23 - March 18, 2026 (unless filled prior to end date).
