About this event
Instructor: Ms. Emma 1.5 hour class! Small group instruction of 10 students or less per class. In this course, students will learn where clay comes from, stages of clay, and the full ceramic process from squishy to glazed! Learn handbuilding techniques, then pottery wheel safety and basics, practice centering and work towards making functional creations as you strengthen your hands and hone your skills. This is an ongoing class that may be repeated, and prepares students for continuing study to the next level of ceramics when readiness is demonstrated. Tuition includes clay, glazing and firing costs. Payment plans available for school-year long course.
