About this event
PAM // PAM CUT Drawing Club is an in-gallery drawing workshop series led by teaching artists Fry and Julz Clementine, who are skilled in both digital and traditional approaches. Designed as a full series or as individual sessions, the workshops invite participants to draw together in the special exhibition David Hockney: Works from the Collection of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation, using traditional drawing tools or digital tools like tablets and styluses. Through close looking, conversation, and guided exercises, participants slow down, sharpen observation, and study artistic decision-making up close. Through repeated practice and shared conversation, participants experiment, build confidence and visual perception, and foster a sustainable drawing habit shaped by curiosity, creative play, and community. April 12, 1:00-4:00 PM Session 2: Shape, Space, & Perspective, led by Fry Investigate how shapes interact in space and how perspective can be bent or layered, drawing from Hockney’s playful rethinking of how we see and construct visual worlds.
