Registration will close on 4/23/2026 at 11:59 pm. Embrace the great outdoors and enjoy the benefits of hiking with your Girl Scout friends. Take in sweeping views of Lake Michigan and the wetlands below as we hike under the full moon along the Dune Ridge Trail. Participants have the option to meet at Camp Butternut Springs first and load into our Council vans at 6:30 PM then head over to Kemil Beach. Otherwise, meet at the Kemil Beach and Dune Ridge Trail Parking Lot at 7:00 PM. The parking fee is not included in the cost of this program. This is a day event and does not include an overnight. This program is designed for families, troops, or individuals with an adult chaperone. Please follow Girl Scout ratios from Safety Activity Checkpoints. This is NOT a drop off event. No food is provided as part of this event. Admission and parking fees are not included in the fee for this event. A patch will be provided for registered youth participants.
