Swimmers develop front and back float, front and back glide, flutter kick (assisted), shallow water entries and exits, and swim 5 metres. They also develop comfort in deep water with a PFD.
It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to register children in the correct level. If the child has not been placed correctly, s(he) may be permitted to transfer to an alternate level, based on program availability. If no spots are available, the child may be withdrawn from the program. Program participants can only be registered for one swimming lesson set at a time. They may be withdrawn from a program(s) if registered in more than one swim lesson set per session, or if registered in future lesson sets prior to the completion of the lesson they are currently registered in. Program fees do not include public admission costs. Please return your report card to your instructor on the first day. If your child cannot use the washroom independently you must remain in the viewing area during the lesson.
