Based on the beloved DreamWorks film, this crowd-pleasing musical follows everyone’s favorite ogre, Shrek, as he sets out on a quest to rescue the feisty Princess Fiona. Along the way, he’s joined by a lovable (and very talkative!) Donkey and a whole cast of fairytale misfits who have been banished to Shrek’s swamp. As unlikely friendships form and secrets are revealed, Shrek learns that true beauty comes from within—and that sometimes the most unexpected heroes make the biggest difference. Students will sing a selection from the show and should be ready to perform sides at the audition. Submit your audition form, headshot, and resume on your Google Classroom. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Genesis provides costumes—supplemental items & shoes from your wardrobe. Students are required to be present at all rehearsals and shows. Please do not schedule any appointments or events for your student during this rehearsal period. Please send a snack, a personal water bottle, and a pencil each day to rehearsal. Please help your student at home to memorize their lines. Tickets will be available for purchase online.
