Semester 1 (Fall) Engineering and Entrepreneurship Students build and program a LEGO SPIKE robot to move, sense, and complete hands-on engineering challenges, developing the skills that prepare them for optional FIRST LEGO League and VEX competitions. They also design a solution to a real problem, build a robot model of their product, and present it at a Wize Robotics Market. LEGO SPIKE Essential & Prime Kits Semester 2 (Spring) Designing and Coding Students model objects in Tinkercad, create physical prototypes using 3D pens, and bring their digital designs into Delightex to build worlds & games, exploring on screen, in VR, or in AR with a Merge Cube. In Minecraft Education, they design and code games like an Escape Room and an Obby course, learning loops, conditionals, coordinates, and variables.
