Description

This program is for a class size of 6 puppies and goes on for 6 weeks. Puppies must be between 10 weeks - 6 months old. Your puppy will learn obedience fundamentals, how to pay attention to you around distractions, and have socialization opportunities. This is an AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy class. If you attend all classes, you and your puppy can be evaluated on the last day of class to earn the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy title.

Puppies will have puppy playtime opportunities for their socialization needs on week 2 and week 4 of classes.
Some things puppies will learn:

• To be petted by new people without jumping
• Accept being groomed and handled
• A marker word such as "Yes" or "Good"
• Impulse Control
• Sit, down, stay, come
• Loose leash walking
• How to settle on a mat

On the first day of class, please bring a 6 foot leash and plenty of high value treats such as small slices of chicken, string cheese, hotdogs, etc. Food your puppy gets really excited for. :)
Also, please email proof of your puppy's vaccinations to info@trustlinecanine.com before the first day of class or bring proof with you to show trainer first day of class.
Classes may need to be rescheduled due to the weather. If that happens, you will be notified.
