Description
Becoming comfortable with a language is a worthwhile journey, and for ESL (English as a Foreign Language) Learners or Non-English speakers, it is a great boost of confidence and ultimately provides a huge level of effectiveness that goes with you throughout your life. In the course, you will actively learn English as it relates to: READING, WRITING, SPEAKING, AND LISTENING. Not only will you learn the basics, such as grammar.... but the overall class engagement will help every student to feel comfortable with 1) Understanding "What America Hears" and 2) learning to build your communication strengths & styles in various ways that supports REAL LIFE INTERACTIONS -- and much much more. STEP 1 is discovering "what is your personal level of English" since the course involves English Beginners all the way up to Business English. In short.....,We start with the English you ALREADY know and from there - begin building your knowledge, your vocabulary, your speaking skill, and creating ways for you the student to be able to actually realize your own growth (towards whatever language goal you may be seeking). Each student should bring a NOTEBOOK (paper) and a pencil to class; computers are welcomed. In addition to eriting, there will also be exercises and activities as well, so that the class is fun, as well as educational. Come prepared to ENGAGE and PARTICIPATE!!!
