Under the direction of GFS Art teacher and local muralist, Jared Wood, campers will experience the entire mural-making process from initial design to final fabrication. Together, they’ll explore how artists plan large-scale works, practice research skills to inform their ideas, and strengthen their painting techniques along the way. Collaboration will be at the heart of the week as the group works as a team to bring a shared vision to life. By the end of camp, participants will have created a vibrant mural that reflects their creativity, effort, and teamwork. This camp is 2 weeks, campers can choose to join for one week or both!
