About this event
This camp blends creativity, engineering, and digital literacy. Students will use the Design Thinking process to identify challenges in their chosen environment (e.g., lack of breathable air, extreme heat, limited resources) and then use 3D modeling and AR tools to create innovative, interactive solutions that float, hover, and populate the world right in front of them. Together campers will learn: -Envisioning the Future: Apply foundational science and logic (like gravity, climate, and resource management) to design a viable settlement. -3D Modeling: Learn basic skills in user-friendly 3D software to create custom structures, vehicles, and habitats. -Augmented Reality Creation: Understand how AR works and use accessible tools (like Merge Cubes or mobile AR platforms) to make their digital creations appear in the real world. -Interactive Design: Add educational content, sound effects, and interactive elements to their AR objects, making their future world come alive. -Team Collaboration: Work in teams to delegate tasks, solve complex problems, and deliver a unified final project. Prepare for a journey beyond the limits of reality!
