History comes alive through the pages of captivating books! June: Laura Hillenbrand’s Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption, and Julie Otsuka’s novella, The Buddha in the Attic, a fictional account of the lives of Japanese picture brides immigrating to the United States during the early 1900s. August: Erik Larson’s The Devil in the White City, a book chronicling the experiences of an architect and a serial killer during the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair. Join us for a journey through time as we explore the stories that shape our world!
