This immersive camp takes students inside real engineering companies, where they’ll explore the cutting-edge technology, problem solving, and creativity behind different engineering fields. Day 1-2, students will: Tour engineering facilities and learn how products are designed and built Meet professional engineers and discover career paths in the field Take on real-world design challenges inspired by the companies they visit Work hands on with materials and tools to create solutions to engineering problems Day 3 will culminate with students creating a display showcase what they experienced and presenting to business partners in the afternoon. From mechanical and civil engineering to manufacturing and design, this camp is perfect for future problem solvers and innovators looking to explore the exciting world of engineering! Safety Clothing Requirements: Appropriate dress to visit companies. Closed-toe shoes and long pants. Please Note: To ensure equitable access, we kindly ask that each educator limits their initial registration to two externship opportunities. This will allow as many participants as possible to take advantage of these experiences.
