In this hands-on camp, students will take on the “10-Acre Challenge,” where they are tasked with designing how to use a newly acquired 10-acre parcel of land for their school. Through visits to local farms, forests, and community food systems, students will explore real-world careers in agriculture, natural resources, and sustainability. Working in teams, campers will develop a land-use plan. The experience culminates in a team proposal where students pitch their vision for the future of their land.
