Grade 3 ballet dancers must take two ballet classes each week. Please try to stay within Group A or Group B. Please contact admin@oabdance.org if you have scheduling difficulties. Dancers at this level will continue work from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus. The focus of this class is on developing classical technique, proficiency in the Grade 3 syllabus work, and pre-pointe strength and competency in preparation for pointe work. Students may participate in optional spring examinations. French terminology is continued. Grade 3 Dress Code Girls: Class leotard, no skirts, ballet pink or flesh tone tights and ballet shoes. Boys: White T-shirt black dance tights, black ballet shoes, and white socks.
