End your day with a relaxing paddle, stunning nature and a community campfire. This experience is an invitation to enjoy the contemplative nature of sea kayaking through the of mindfulness. For beginners and experienced paddlers alike, our mindfulness trained guides will invite you to practice non-striving on the water, with "no place to go and no thing to do", just being present to savor the beauty of the South Salish Sea as the sun sets over the Olympic Mountains. You'll learn how to practice letting go of stress by fostering beginner’s mind. We'll launch from the shore of Gallagher Cove before gliding into Totten Inlet-often greeted by harbor seals, blue herons, osprey, jelly fish and more. We’ll connect with each other and reflect on our experience around a campfire to savor the good company. Instruction focused on safety and all necessary equipment provided. Just bring your sense of adventure, a curious mind and an open heart. Instructor ONE Center Staff.
