About this event
Learn to cook three to four recipes that are less than $1 per serving and tasty! This cooking class takes historically inexpensive recipes from the Great Depression and brings them forward to the current day. These recipes are delicious, inexpensive, and helpful in our current economic climate. Bound cookbook of great recipes included in tuition. On the menu: Creamed Chip Beef on Toast, Hoover Stew, and German Pancakes. Bring an apron and your appetite. Registration closes at noon on 5/1. Jeffrey Carpenter is the Workforce Development/Training Coordinator for Granite Bay Care in Scarborough. He is a seasoned educator and public speaker with years of sharing instructional and relevant presentations regarding everything from enhancing job experiences to the visual and performing arts. His passion, humor, and knowledge are infectious and inspiring.
